ICAS is an independent, skills-based competition which recognises and rewards student achievement.  The papers are rigorous and independent of what students learn in school. ​ICAS assesses higher order thinking and problem solving skills needed for success in all subjects. ICAS testing will not take place at school this year. The 2024 ICAS testing centre information will be included in the RPS School Newsletter when the information becomes available. 

APSMO Maths Olympiad/Maths Games

The APSMO Maths Olympiad/Maths Games is a competition for highly achieving Year 4, 5 and 6 students from around Australia and New Zealand. It is aimed at challenging participants’ problem solving abilities. In each competition students are given 5 questions, which must completed in a specified time-frame of around 20-30 minutes.
